Our Editorial Mission
We built GMB Visibility Service to cut through the noise of local SEO. We publish field-tested tactics for Google Business Profile optimization. We serve local business owners and agency partners who need actual foot traffic, not just vanity metrics.
We don’t publish theory. If a tactic doesn’t move a map pack ranking in our own client accounts, it doesn’t make it onto this site. Real data drives every word we write. We show you exactly how to turn local searches into real-world customers.
Three years of testing. Zero shortcuts. Real results.
How We Choose Topics
We source our content directly from the trenches. We look at the exact friction points our clients hit every day. A sudden wave of hard suspensions in the HVAC sector dictates our next guide. A shift in how Google processes review velocity triggers a new case study.
We ignore generic marketing news. We focus entirely on the mechanics of local search visibility. You won’t find broad articles about general business strategy here. You’ll find granular breakdowns of NAP consistency audits, category dilution, and citation building.
Research and Fact-Checking Standards
Local SEO is full of bad advice. We combat this with rigorous testing. Before we publish a claim about proximity signals, we test it across multiple live GBP listings. We track the rank positions from 1 to 20 across specific city grids.
We trust our own data over Google’s public statements.
If we cite an algorithm update, we cross-reference it with our own client analytics. We require two independent data points before calling a trend a fact. Our editorial team reviews every technical claim against current Google Business Profile guidelines. We test it. We verify it. We publish it.
Corrections Policy
Google updates its local algorithm constantly. Sometimes our published data becomes obsolete. Sometimes we make an error. When we get it wrong, we fix it fast.
- Email our desk directly at [email protected] with your specific finding.
- We review the claim against live search results within 48 hours.
- If we verify the error, we update the page immediately.
- We place a visible correction notice at the bottom of the affected article.
Transparency builds authority. We never silently edit away our mistakes. You deserve a high-resolution view of what actually works today.
Commercial Relationships and Disclosures
GMB Visibility Service operates as a commercial agency. We sell local SEO services. We also recommend specific software tools for citation management and rank tracking. Sometimes we use affiliate links for tools like Whitespark or BrightLocal. If you buy through those links, we earn a small commission.
That commission never dictates our recommendation.
We rejected 14 different review management platforms before finding one that actually works without triggering Google’s spam filters. We only recommend the exact tools we use daily in our own agency operations. If a tool fails our internal audits, we drop it from our guides.
Editorial Independence
Our editorial calendar belongs to us. No outside software company or marketing agency can buy a spot on our blog. We don’t accept sponsored guest posts. We don’t alter our reviews to please vendors.
If a popular local SEO tool drops in quality, we’ll say so. Our loyalty remains entirely with the local business owner trying to dominate their map pack. We protect that trust fiercely.
Content Updates and Freshness
A local SEO guide from three years ago is worse than useless. It’s dangerous. Tactics that worked previously will now earn your profile a hard suspension. We audit our core guides every 90 days.
We check every technical instruction against the current live Google Business Profile interface. If a feature disappears, we remove it from our guides immediately. We stamp the top of every article with the exact date of its last technical review. You need absolute accuracy to win in local search, and we provide exactly that.
